Established by Count Jan Przeździecki, Obeliu Distillery has been producing ethyl alcohol, the key ingredient of strong alcoholic beverages, for over a century. Renowned as an excellent farmer, Count Przeździecki not only established and ran the distillery, but also kick-started the long-standing history of spirit distillation and vodka production. A huge leap ahead in the distillery’s history was made after 1932, when the count’s son Aleksander Przeździecki took over. Together with his wife, Katarzyna Komar Przeździecka, he played a major role in further popularising and developing the distillery, modernising it and making it one of the most modern distilleries in Europe.
Their legacy is enshrined on every bottle. The label features a real 1932 photo of Katarzyna herself, corking the bottles at the distillery. It is thanks to their relentless dedication that OBELIU CRAFTED Vodka is able continue the impressive tradition of the Przeździecki family to this day.
